Spectacular Fall in Colorado 2010

It has been a very special few months these past three months. I got to spend some great time with my parents on their first visit to the US, and I am still hunting for a good job. The past three months I got to travel to San Francisco, Monterey Bay, Orlando and Disney World, Vail, Beaver Creek, Pikes Peak, Mt Evans, played golf at Arrow Head, Raccoon Creek, Willis, The Meadows and Ute Creek. Played league tennis in the summer and twilight leagues and now in the indoor center on Sunday nights.

I guess I am in the best shape I have been for the past ten years and feel full of energy and need to get a good job. I have sent out more resume's than I care to remember and am working hard on the networking piece but nothing concrete in the pipeline just yet. I wont give up until I succeed.

We had an awesome summer with near perfect weather and now as it winds down through the fall, we get to see the trees put on a show of magnificent colour, the grass growth slows and the temperatures are cooler by a few degrees each week. Colorado is fantastic and a first rate place to have the privilege of living in.

On top of the Pikes Peak mountain, 14100-ft with my mum and dad. Snow fell here the night before.

In Vail with the folks and it is summer with great weather and green ski slopes behind us.

The Vail village where we spent some time enjoying meals and a few beverages.

Beaver Creek another 5 star ski village

Lesleigh bumps into Einstein in Vail.

It is the last week in September and on the top of Mt Evans we got a good dusting with snow flakes and a bitter chill. What a day.

Half way down the mountain it was sunshine and a perfect Spring day.
Then in Half Moon Bay just South West of San Francisco we stayed on the local Links course and the views were breath taking.

The half moon bay harbor had a nice brew pub for us to enjoy some good beer and watch a sunset or two.
My mom and I at the famous Golden Gate bridge. It was windy but still a great day out.

The folks on a tram in Down Town San Francisco.
The Pebble beach golf course. This is green 17 and in good condition. We got to walk a fair amount of this course and it has tiny greens to play into, so unless your short game is up to scratch then give this one a miss.

A classic photo standing on the 5th tee box, beach and boats in the background, I was keen to play.

The tree that has become the signature for the Pebble Beach course and part of the drive along 17 mile drive.
Back in San Francisco Bay we took a boat ride and this photo revels the golden gate bridge in the distance breaking through a cloud of mist that was flowing into the bay with Alcatraz in the foreground.

This shot was taken on the cliffs of the 1, which runs on the California coast line, and a day with perfect weather.
Back in Colorado we headed into the mountains and got to see the tree changing in the start of fall. It looks like volcano lava the colors are so rich.

The hill sides are full of bright yellow, gold and a touch of red against the evergreens.
Then it was off to Disney world and we got to go to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and the Hollywood Studios. Here she is Mini mouse.

I even got to stand in line and get my picture taken with Belle, the princess, and she was that pretty too.
Sunset from our timeshare lodge in Orlando.
Back in our Littleton neighborhood, we took a walk down to the river and the fall colors speak for themselves.

Another blue sky with mid 70 temperatures. Who could want any more?
