Welcome to Vail Village and a view from the Eagles Nest Gondola of the village we stayed in for a long weekend of luxury and bliss during mid summer 2010.It has been so well designed to give you that Swiss Village feel, very European and very well maintained.

This photo is up on the slopes and was taken for Terri, note that even black diamond slopes require Ouzo for confidence.

The wild flowers in summer are beautiful even though they are truly only here for three months of the year.

Here are a couple of photos that we got to take on our hike to the peak of the mountain. We had a little rain and then miniature hail on the hike to the top, but it is Colorado and the weather can change up several times without notification, especially at elevation.

The wooden building in the pic to the right is where we got to sit and admire the view whilst sipping away at a few great cold beers. Life can be tough up in the mountains!
