Its amazing what a change of weather can do to one's perception of a place. The sun came out in NY yesterday and the town sprung into life. We walked around 15 kilometers in and around town and saw some beautiful sights and sounds of this city. Both Leigh and I have sore legs and feet from the walking but are determined to keep going on foot as the underground is not great. After yesterday we decided that we could live in NY but that housing is very expensive with average rentals in excess of $8000 per month.

My luggage appears to be missing with no sign that it will be recovered. I have started to buy clothing on sale to replace lost items.
