Well we survived and enjoyed the New York stint and then off to Denver Colorado. We arrived at ten in the evening and the airport is huge. We caught the underground train across four terminals to the luggage round about and all the luggage arrived.

We caught a taxi to a nearby hotel and settled in for the night. The accommodation was good and more than adequate. At ten the next morning we were met by Lorraine and Jeffery who picked us up and took us to their beautiful home in Evergreen outside Denver. It is dramatically beautiful with snow on the peaks of the mountains in the distance and the sky is a bright blue. Lesleigh and I think this is definitely somewhere we would be happy to settle for a while.

Attached a couple of snaps of the house views and the neighborhood. I weighed in at 90kg so that is officially my heaviest weight for some time but whilst we are traveling and eating take outs its not about to come down.

Today we went out to the airport and collected our air cargo. It was such a pleasure to deal with customs and the freighters they were professional and quick. We also went into the license department and we have to take a driving test again so that’s going to be fun. But we cannot apply for a bank account or a license until we have a social security number which we hope will come through on Wednesday this next week. Hope you are all well, we are having a ball and lots more exciting news to come. Tomorrow we are off to look at cars. It is very weird driving on the right and concentration is required all the time, but I think I will have the hang of it in a day or two.
