On The Strip

Vegas! The city that works 24/7 and contains a very diverse set of tourist’s day in day out. The nights are more impressive with all the lights than the bright days, but out in this desert the temperatures rarely dip below 25 degrees C even at night.

The famous Vegas Strip consists of several theme hotels and casinos ranging from Ceasers Palace to Monte Carlo and the very impressive Balagio and the Venetian. Day and night the sidewalks are packed with people, drinking alcohol and smoking is allowed where ever you go. The casinos are busy all day and night. The diversity of people is amazing. There are a lot of oversized people here with little dress sense or no access to mirrors. Some of the outfits women wear look like they were designed for a ramp model but the new owner weighs in at 250 pounds. Lesleigh and I joke that Hippo’s need to come out of the water at night to feed.

The waitresses in the hotels are dressed in very skimpy suits that definitely don’t cover the bum or the boobs and they walk round all day and night just serving gamblers with free drinks. There are also night clubs and these are popular but really expensive and loaded with really good looking women, wearing as little as possible (due to the hot weather?)
